What is CED?
CED or also known as College Experience Days, is a 4-days-and-3-nights conference at UC Davis, created to give high school students an opportunity to experience the college life. Students will get the chance to shadow their college host in the daytime and participate in evening workshops.
Evening workshops will be dedicated to challenge students in reflecting on who they were, who they are now, and who they will be in the future. This event aims to give all students a space for individual development and a space to learn from each other. Although this event is focused on inspiring, empowering and educating high school students, we also aim to build strong college leaders and mentors. This will help prepare and expand their knowledge and experience of mentorship by enhancing their skills and exposing them to a new crowd.
Volunteering and Mentors
Although this event is focused on inspiring, empowering and educating high school students, we also aim to build strong college leaders and mentors. This will help prepare and expand your knowledge and experience of mentorship by enhancing your skills and exposing you to a new crowd. These are the goals that HSU want the community to be aware of. Above all, through our work,we hope to attract, recruit, and retain community members in order to strengthen the numbers and ideas for future events.
Applications for the upcoming 2017-2018 CED event are not yet opened and will be released towards the end of this year.
